Schaebens Vegetable Omega-3 1,000 Capsules were developed especially for people who would like to supplement their food with Omega-3 fatty acids that have not been derived from fish. The Omega-3 source for this food supplement is a high-quality vegetable oil with a high proportion of the Omega-3 fatty acid Alpha-Linoleic Acid. Our food often contains too much cholesterol and too few of the Omega-3 fatty acids. This can lead to an increased value of blood lipids such as cholesterol. Because elevated values of blood lipids are a significant risk factor for heart disease and blood circulation problems along with stress, smoking, alcohol, and lack of exercise etc., a cholesterol-conscious diet is very important. A sufficient supply of Omega-3 fatty acids is an important component of a cholesterol and health-conscious diet as these unsaturated fatty acids are of vital importance for metabolism yet cannot be produced by the human body itself.
Schaebens Vegetable Omega-3 1,000 capsules contain 1,000 mg of linseed oil (Linum usitatissimum) per capsule with an average content of 500 mg of the long-chain Omega-3 fatty acid Alpha-Linoleic Acid. These Omega-3 fatty acids can also be partly transformed into EPA (Eicosapentaen Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaens Acid) by the body. In addition, every capsule contains 10 mg of vitamin E, which is also known for its protective properties.
Recommended daily consumption: Swallow 1 capsule per day with a glass of water. Do not chew capsules.
Ingredients: Linseed oil, gelatin, humectant: glycerin, vitamin E, colour: titan dioxide and copper complexes of chlorophyllins.
