Schaebens L-Carnitin tablets contain 500 mg L-Carnitin as a one-day dose. L-Carnitin is indispensable for the body’s natural fat burning abilities and therefore for the body’s own fat metabolism. Because the cells of the body use L-Carnitin to transport fatty acids into the mitochondria, “the power station of cells”, where they are then transformed into energy, it plays a decisive role in fat metabolism. In other words, L-Carnitin helps transform fatty acids into energy.

In most cases, the body produces an adequate amount of L-Carnitin by itself or acquires it through certain foods. Yet a dietary supplement with L-Carnitin could, however, be helpful for people who are very physically active or who undergo intense body strain. This is often the case with vegetarian diets, for example, as L-Carnitin is found primarily in red meat and rarely (or not at all) in vegetables. When the body does not have a sufficient supply of L-Carnitin during physical activity, it is not capable of optimally burning fatty acids in the muscle cells. L-Carnitin is therefore helpful in cases requiring much.

Recommended daily consumption: Take 1 tablet per day with a glass of water. Do not chew tablets.
